Studco Building Systems is an ISO 14001 compliant company. What exactly does this mean to you and your customers? ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems all around the world. Our manufacturing processes minimize waste, prevent pollution, and recycle wherever possible.
This includes manufacturing special length products for all types of projects, having self-contained building system solutions that do not rely on 3rd party suppliers beyond our control, designing products to fulfill the BCA Energy Efficiency program, and signing up with Greenfleet to offset carbon emissions of our corporate sales vehicles, to name just a few of our efforts.
In Europe, green-products and processes are a must if you hope to build there. Many procurement offices require proof of ISO 14001 compliance before working with a new vendor. So your customers can rest easy, knowing that Studco construction materials meet rigorous environmental and safety standards now, and for many years to come.

Studco Building Systems is proud to confirm that its line of steel stud framing products have been tested by a third-party testing firm, STAR Structural Testing and Research Inc. (STAR), for over 2 years now.
STAR specializes in the performance testing of cold-formed steel structural products for the construction industry, such as structural steel studs and stud framing clips. This specialization gives STAR the perfect credentials to assess Studco Building Systems steel stud framing products.
STAR performs vacuum box testing (ASTM E72) of non-loadbearing steel stud and gypsum board composite walls for Studco Building Systems. This determines the maximum limiting heights in accordance with ICC-ES AC 86. These same tests are carried out for shaftwall assemblies.
“Recent questions about this in the industry have identified a need for third-party testing,” said Alan Parr, the General Manager of Studco Systems. “Studco has stayed ahead of the industry by implementing third-party product testing over 2 years ago. At Studco, we are committed to providing the highest quality steel studs and metal building components in the industry, and this testing is part of that commitment.”
